Highlander Track

and CROSS COUNTRY

A free Track and Field program for kids age 6-12 in the Flathead Valley.

About Highlander Track

In 1975, Three Rivers Bank of Montana’s founder, Jack King, created the Highlander Track Club. The purpose of the club was to introduce local youth to track and field and to encourage physical activity. The participants are coached by local high school track and field athletes. For three weeks, they practice track and field events and then participate in two track meets. The Highlander Track Club is sanctioned by the U.S. Track and Field Association.

Three Rivers Bank of Montana is the main sponsors of the club and there is no charge to participate. Over the years, thousands of youth have participated in Highlander Track and. Many participants continue their involvement with track and cross country into their high school and college years. These programs have inspired other communities to implement similar programs in their areas.

Age Requirements

Highlander is an entry level Track & Field program for children ages 6-12.
You must be 6 years old before April 11, 2024 to participate.
